Distant light years away,
An amber nebula glows,
Traversing unimaginable dimensions.
The immense eye in the sky,
In solitary vigil, staring at the cold nursery
Picks a blip.
Something streaks through the dusty cloud
Big as worlds, like a shadow;
Ionized gas rolls away as it pushes through
And is gone.
* Nebulae are galactic clouds of gas and dust where stars are born.
